Being perfectly honest, I quit this diet three times...I am currently starting my fourth detox this year. The first time I quit in Phase III, after losing 15lbs. The second time I got fed up after hiting a plateau, the third time, I just wasn't ready. This time I plan on seeing it through to the end... I like for the most part how simple this diet is to understand but there are a few uncertainties like can I eat grits in place of oatmeal...because I hate oatmeal...but I generally like it.

I really liked this plan. When I read it in a magazine at first I thought that they were full of it (again). It really works if you stick to it. My bad. I did not. I lost 12 pounds in 2 weeks when I first tried it. I felt great, not only because I was losing weight, but healthwise, felt better. I am planning on starting again on Monday Dec 31st 2007. Lets see what happends!

The book made this a little complicated

I thought the diet was ok. I did lose weight not as fast as I wanted to. However I do feel healthier and the excersie was great. In the book he would say you can have 3-4 oz of meat per day. But in the tips he would say don't eat the same meats back to back. So I was confused if I could have one meat a day or meat for lunch and seafood for dinner. That through me off. However I stuck it out and I'm still following the diet.
